Man, it was a crazy week! Needless to say, I’m excited to bring you my very first Fri-YAY Cocktail… because I definitely need it! TGIF, am I right?
Because of this chaotic week, I wasn’t exactly planning ahead for this premiere. For that reason, I made the most simplistic (but delicious) cocktail that is perfect for any fall occasion. It combines two of my favorite drinks: apple cider and… champagne!
It’s that simple. That’s literally all you need to make this tasty cocktail (and maybe a fresh apple for garnish or to add in for some “boozy fruit”).
I’m calling it the Adult Sparkling Cider!
To recap, here’s what you’ll need:
- Your favorite champagne (I used a Brut; in the middle on the sweetness scale)
- Apple cider
- 1 fresh apple, for garnish (I used Gala, but any kind is fine)
NOTE #1: I didn’t include exact measurements because it’s completely up to you! If you like your drinks a little boozier (or had a particularly rough day), feel free to add in a little more champagne 😉
NOTE #2: I realize this is a red wine glass, but that’s all I’ve got! (#postgradproblems) If you have an actual champagne flute, I would recommend serving in that.
