Last week, I had the pleasure modeling at the Kenwood Country Club’s Ladies Spring Fling with Annie of Success on Stilettos and Kayla of The Professional Prep. Together, we wandered the luncheon wearing fabulous looks fashioned by Monkee’s of Madeira.
Monkee’s is a franchise of clothing boutiques, each carrying a collection of upscale designers and brands, like Draper James, Lilly Pulitzer, Jude Connally and Jack Rogers.
It was love at first sight when I stumbled upon a Monkee’s on Davidson College’s campus, so when I found out there was one in Cincinnati, I had to check it out!
For my first of two fashion show looks – #2 coming soon – I styled these uber comfortable white skinnies with an adorable OTS blouse. Finished off the look with my favorite summer wedges and some subtle jewelry, and voila!

Last weekend, the ladies of Thread Cincinnati and I were invited to hit up the Cincinnati Premium Outlets for a fun-filled (albeit rainy) day of shopping. We did this last year too (see my previous finds here and here) so we couldn’t wait to go back and score some more awesome deals. I bought this entire outfit – plus another pair of earrings and a tank – for under $150. You’re welcome, wallet!

There’s nothing like a great sale, especially when everything hasn’t been picked over yet! When spring inventory hit the shelves at GAP, I scored three amazing pieces, including this adorable confetti skirt.
Since then, I’ve dressed it up and down for many occasions, making it one of the most versatile skirts in my closet. I’ll definitely be styling it more this spring/summer. What’s your favorite clothing steal? Share yours with me in the comments below!

Nothing is better than time spent at home, especially when the majority is spent alongside family and friends. Every time I’m back in Buffalo, I make it a point to spend quality time with my bestie, Lucy. We typically find a hip spot downtown or in Elmwood Village to eat, drink and catch up as girlfriends do. This time, we added one more activity to our ritual: blog pictures.
Yes, that’s right, my best friend is also a fabulous blogger! Lucy blogs at Write. Style. Travel. and has already been recognized as one of the top bloggers in Buffalo! So with my camera in tow, we headed to Canalside (after a delicious rooftop dinner at Tappo) and went on our blogging mission.
And don’t forget to check out Lucy’s “Style Spotlight” here!

With summer quickly approaching, music festival season is officially underway! Though I’m not attending any myself this year, I’m inspired by the eccentric yet fashionable looks that frequent them. For today’s post, I’m featuring one of my favorite American Eagle finds from last summer paired with a few festival essentials. This look is simple, cute and easy breezy — perfect for enjoying the sounds of summer.

Lately, I’ve been invited to so many virtual shopping parties, I can’t even keep track of them. It seems like every day a new consultant-based retailer pops up, and many that I’d never even heard of before. Now, don’t take this as me complaining… I’m not, but my wallet is!
Because of my dwindling bank account, I’ve been very picky about purchasing from these online parties, but one that caught my eye was LuLaRoe. Known for their comfort and unique patterns, LuLaRoe specializes in women’s skirts, dresses and leggings. Naturally, I gravitated towards the dress collections (#DressObsessed) and spotted the Amelia. Let’s just say it was love at first sight.
Dress: LuLaRoe || Jacket: Express (old – similar) || Shoes: Nine West Outlet (N/A online – similar or similar) || Necklace: Francesca’s (old – similar or similar) || Lipstick: Urban Decay in “1993”
At first, I was a bit hesitant about the length of this dress with my petite 5’3″ figure, but decided to try it out anyways. And I’m so glad I did… it’s super comfortable, flattering and did I mention it has pockets? That’s what I call a win-win-win.
The fit-and-flare style along with LuLaRoe’s signature stretch fabric make the Amelia the perfect dress for any body type. At $65, it was a bit more than I typically spend on dresses, but I’ve already gotten tons of wear out of it. No buyer’s remorse here! So if you’re in the market for a fabulous dress that can be dressed up or down, I highly recommend checking out LuLaRoe.
Thanks to Annie from Success on Stilettos for the pictures!
